Ancient Greek Civilization -Mr. Zahnd

This week I listened to a lecture about Ancient Greek civilization. I learned about some of the earliest people living in Greece. A society, who we now call the Minoans, lived on an island named Crete. Remember when we watched a video about the Minoans? Today, we know very little about the Minoans because we cannot read their writing. Archeologists learn about the Minoans by studying the objects that they made, like pots and paintings. Studying Ancient Greece is very interesting. -Mr. Zahnd
Crete is south of Greece.

  1. The map of Greece is very detailed. It has lots of cities and also some of the islands that are a part of Greece that at in the Mediterranean Sea. I can see that Greece is near Turkey. Do you know what other countries are near Greece? The map does not show this information. I bet that you are really enjoying learning about ancient history.
