Crime and Punishment -Mr. Zahnd

I have been reading a novel called Crime and Punishment. I wanted to read this book for many years, but I never got around to it until now. It is a very interesting story by an author name Fyodor Dostoyevsky. The setting is Russia, during the 1800s. The main character is a man named Raskolnikov. It is fascinating, but also a little scary.

An Other Blog About You Guys

Before we start im sorry that it took more than one week to post its becuase lately I havent had time but lets get on with the blog. Mr.Zahnd posted a comment, and he said"Im studying french so i can be better at french." What I have to say about that is that it sound cool you must be proud of yourself. That also sounds awsome tell me how it turns out. Then Yudith said "What is the funniest thing you have ever watched." The funniest thing ive watched is the simspoms. Hi guys, did you know it rained yesterday, at night?It was cool and scary. It was cool because it hasn't rained in a long time and the rain drops came down hard,and it was scary because there was thunder and lightning.Also it was loud.(It rained somewhere around 10:00 or 11:00)

Studying French - Mr. Zahnd

At the beginning of this summer I decided that I wanted to improve my ability to speak and understand French. I learned French when I was in middle school and high school, but I stopped practicing, so I forgot some of what I knew. This summer I have been studying French almost every day. I found a website that has French lessons, which I have been reading. I have made flash cards to help me learn new vocabulary. Have you been studying any languages this summer? If you already know a language besides English, have you been speaking it with your family or friends? Using a language is probably the best way to improve your skills. Let me know what languages you have been studying.

Ancient Greek Civilization -Mr. Zahnd

This week I listened to a lecture about Ancient Greek civilization. I learned about some of the earliest people living in Greece. A society, who we now call the Minoans, lived on an island named Crete. Remember when we watched a video about the Minoans? Today, we know very little about the Minoans because we cannot read their writing. Archeologists learn about the Minoans by studying the objects that they made, like pots and paintings. Studying Ancient Greece is very interesting. -Mr. Zahnd

How Much I Miss School by richard

I miss school so much. I hope you guys are having a good time becuase summer is the best time to do it, but Im just saying im gonna miss all of my friends like Micheal, Edgar, Nathan and so on. So just try to have as much fun as you can. Im already having lots of fun. Not so long ago i went to Sadona. The water was cold, but it was lots of fun i went with my nephews Carlos and Amir. Carlos is there years old and Amir is only one. After that it was Amirs birthday hes now two. I also have great news my pinky is fixed. I can now move it fine. Trying New Foods

This summer I have been trying new foods, and I have been learning about lots of healthy food options. I went to a vegan restaurant, where the chefs did not use any meat or any foods that come from animals. For example, they do not use cheese, because cheese comes from milk from cows. They were able to make many delicious dishes without using animal products. They even made pizza. They used mushrooms, instead of cheese on the pizza. -Mr. Zahnd

They had lots of vegan cakes and cookies at the restaurant.
